As the Holidays approach we are reminded that it’s a time for family and friends. This year we must keep in my mind two families that will be without their loved ones. Jason Fann was killed in an accident while on duty with Yoakum County Sheriffs while responding to a scene call. Floyd East Jr. was a Texas Tech Police officer that was killed in the line of duty in Lubbock, Texas.
Double B Party Barns and Boots and Badges of the South Plains have come together to present the “Inaugural Holidays for Heroes Gift Card Drive!” The event will be held December 3rd, 2017 at the Double B Party Barns from 2:00 pm- 7:00 pm. Entry fee will be a $25.00 gift card (covers a family of 4). Live entertainment, kids games, silent auction, first responder vehicles, etc. We will serve brisket and sausage plates $10 each. Alcohol beverages will also be available for purchase. All gift cards that are donated will be divided among the two families.
